By accessing or using the GuessWhatIPaid mobile application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
GuessWhatIPaid is a platform that connects homeowners seeking home improvement services with contractors. The Service allows homeowners to request quotes, compare contractors, and share their project experiences. Contractors can create profiles, respond to quote requests, and showcase their work.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

GuessWhatIPaid facilitates connections between homeowners and contractors but is not a party to any agreements or transactions between them. We do not guarantee the accuracy of quotes, the quality of work, or the completion of any project. All payments for services should be made directly between the homeowner and contractor.
Contractors may subscribe to Pro membership for enhanced features. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS). By subscribing, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund requests are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (reviews, photos, project descriptions, community posts, comments, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.
GuessWhatIPaid maintains a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post, upload, or share any content that is:
Users can report objectionable content or abusive users directly within the app using the report (flag) button on posts and comments, or the block user feature. All reports are reviewed by our team and we will act on reports within 24 hours. Actions we may take include:
Users who repeatedly post objectionable content or engage in abusive behavior will have their accounts permanently removed from the platform.
You may block other users at any time. Blocking a user will hide their content from you and prevent them from interacting with you through the Service. Blocked users will not be notified.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without notice. We do not guarantee that all content on the Service is accurate or appropriate. We may use automated and manual review processes to identify and remove objectionable content.
Users may leave reviews and ratings for contractors. Reviews should be honest, accurate, and based on genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms. Contractors may not offer incentives for positive reviews or retaliate against users for negative reviews.
The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by GuessWhatIPaid and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without our express written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT ENDORSE, GUARANTEE, OR ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONTRACTOR OR THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUESSWHATIPAID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GuessWhatIPaid, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account through Profile Settings on the website or in the app. Deleting your GuessWhatIPaid account does not cancel subscriptions billed by Apple; those subscriptions must be canceled through the App Store.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against us.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
